今日31℃だった。
数字だけで見るとたいした暑さじゃないけど、実際街にいると本当に暑かった。大阪も京都も暑いけど、今日なんか風が全然吹かず、蒸篭のようになってたわ。テレビでよく見るじゃないですか、暑くて視野がちょっとぼける空気のシーン。それそれ！

とにかく、今日は旦那の学校のジムに行ってきました。これは私アメリカに来て最初のミッションです。運動すること！

日本ではジムに入るのにかるく1万円かかるから入らなかったが、ここでは、すごく立派なファシリティーがあって、しかも学生には無料、配偶者も月に2000円ぐらい程度で使わせてもらえる。

今度プールも使って腰痛でも治しとこうかな〜。

It was soooooooooo hot today! 31degree doesn't sound very bad but when the air is still it feels like you're walking in the sauna room!

I started working on one of my missions today: going to the gym and start working out. The gym of hubby's school is just more than professional! Since it's still summer there weren't too many students around and we took our time trying out different things (I'm sure I'll wake up with a major muscle pain tomorrow morning!!).

In Japan it's the norm to cost about 10000-20000yen to join a fitness club, but here with hubby's student status, I can get in for as little as under USD20/month! With 2 swimming pools and indoor courts and other facilities I'll try to stick with exercising to fix my back pain. (At least before it gets cold anyway! )
