この前チーズケーキを紹介したが、昨日またイタリアンタウンに行って、そこの有名なベーカリーに行ってきました。

感想：
この店は常に行列ができる程人気みたい。
昨日はCannoliを食べたかったのでそれを狙って並んでました。
買ったのはBlack&White Cookie, Cannoli with chocolate dip と hazelnut flavored nugat chocolate bar：



パッケージはまぁまぁ大雑把。普通は紙で包んで手渡しだけど、量があったので、箱に入れてくれた。まぁ、これはこれで可愛いと思うけど。大体日本では包装が多すぎだもんね。


店内の商品はこんな感じ：




　


ショーケースに大量な商品を並んでいる。日本と違って作りもそんなに丁寧じゃない。もっと自然な感じ。

味はね。。。なんというかな。甘い！
それぞれ本来美味しいけど、どれも甘味を半分にしたらいいかなぁ。。。

特にヘゼルナッツ味のチョコバーが一口でもう糖尿病になるじゃないか！と思ったぐらい甘かった。（＞＜）

Cannoliはそんなに甘くなかったが、普通でした。旦那もクッキーを食べ終わってからお水をたくさん飲んで、２軒目に行くのを諦めた。へっへっへ

あ〜、やっぱり自分で作るのが一番かもね。。。

I mentioned there is an Italian Town in Boston. Yesterday we went again and one of our missions was to try out some of the authentic Italian pastries.

We went to this nice shop called Modern Pastry. It's always filled with people and you can really tell how popular it is just by looking at the crowd.

This time I wanted to try their cannoli, and on top of that we got a black & white cookie (soft cookie), and a hazelnut flavored nugat chocolate bar.

I knew they would be sweeter than usual but to our surprise they were just TOO SWEET! Well the cannoli and the cookie was still alright. But the nugat bar was just too much sugar. I felt as if I'd get diabetes just from eating 2 mouthful of it.

To be honest, all of them were quite tasty, only if they could reduce their sugar level by half.

The water we had came into handy. We drank so much trying to dilute everything. hahaha

Wanted to try another pastry shop but we just had to give up. Maybe another day...
