Just a brief note of what I've been doing with my fridge lately.
I've been buying lots of meat and freeze them in small portions for each meal.
I've made mango puree out of fresh ones and freezed it for later use.
I've also freezed some puff doughs for emergency use.
Since hubby loves ice cream so much, I made him some ice cream puffs. Custard cream is too much of a pain when it's only for a small portion. Ice cream turned out just as good. And I think strawberry ice cream went well with it too. =)
It's really handy to keep some unbaked puff doughs in the freezer. You may question whether it's ok to freeze them. But to be honest, bakeries don't make them fresh everyday. However, I would't recommend you to keep them too long.
