Lettuce Wrap

Went out for dinner with a friend the other day and we were all surprised to find American Chinese food pretty ok. I mean, I'm sure the kitchen was Chinese but all the servers were local American (imagine going to Cactus Club in Vancouver but they serve Chinese there).
The service and atmosphere was great. And the food was actually not bad!
One of the dishes we ordered was chicken lettuce wrap. And it reminded me of my own version of it which I haven't made for a long time.
To act fast, I made it at home with ground beef, onion, garlic and carrot. I mean, anything you can think of. I forgot about the cashew nuts I have in the cupboard (and the fact that my husband's been munching on them). But it turned out just great.
You may think it would be dry to use beef, but I touched it up with some oyster sauce and chilli sauce at the end to keep it moist.
Delicious!
