Wide Blueberry Wheat Ale

先日メイン州在住の友人から面白いものを頂きました。



普通な瓶ビールと思ったら、なんとブルーベリー味のビールでした。

メイン州の特産はロブスター以外ブルーベリーだそうで、このブルーベリービールは特産の一つだそうです。

飲んでみたら、ほんのりのブルーベリーの香りがあって結構飲みやすいビールです。

女性が好きそうな味でした。（＾＾）ｂ

I got some of these interesting Wide blueberry wheat ale from a friend who lives in Maine.

Speaking of Maine we all think of lobster. I didn't know blueberry is also very famous!

Anyway, I tasted this blueberry ale and found it very light. The aroma of blueberry is not too strong but still good enough for you to notice. Since it's a wheat ale the flavor is not strong either, making it good for people who prefer light beer.

So there ARE interesting products out there in the States! I wonder if they'd have cranberry beer?
