The first time we were there, we had the best seafood platter and lobster bisque and even the best service! I would never forget how delicious the lobster bisque was.
The second time was a school event held by hubby's school.
We returned to the downtown restaurant for dinner this previous saturday. Lucky us got the last 2 spots at the bar counter. Though we were hoping for a table but it was so full we had to compromise.
The lobster bisque was still very good. Very rich and flavorful. And they do give you some chucks of lobster meat in your soup.
Their fish and chips was good too. Though it would have been better if they made the size of the fish smaller.
Hubby ordered chargrilled Mahi Mahi and he didn't like it very much. Mainly because of the lack of flavor. I think they may have forgotten to season it.
We would probably still go back there some other time for their lobster bisque. Highly recommended if you love lobster.
Service wise I think it was much better at the table than at the bar counter. The person was unattentive and unfriendly. Not rude, just very distracted. Didn't really want to tip him 15% but oh well...
