We went to Reliable and got some "blue crab". They are already cut and "washed" (hopefully) so it's really handy. I've wanted to buy them a long time ago but not until yesterday that I actually grapped one pack and put it in my basket.
I got some ginger and scallion prepared and made a stir fry with it.
It's just so simple and yummy that hubby kept saying "yum yum yum" throughout the meal. Guess this dish is gonna be a regular item in our household.

My first time making shrimp bisque. Yes, shrimp bisque. I wish I had lobster to make lobster bisque... heehee
Anyway, it was not as difficult as I thought it was. And with the right ingredients at home it was actually quite easy.
It doesn't look as red as I wanted it to be (cuz' I didn't want to add too much tomato paste) but overall the taste was pretty good.
The bread sticks I made were actually slices of bread I made with the herb mix. I sprayed them with olive oil and sprinkled them with garlic powder and salt before baking.
Everything turned out great!

This is one of my favorites. Rice noodle with beef balls. This is really a typical light meal that most people in HK would have.
The fact that beef balls are not available in Japan I haven't had it for a long time. But since I found some from the local Chinese supermarket here for our hot pot dinner, I made myself this long missed treat for lunch the other day.
YUM! It's just great to be able to make myself comfort food every once in a while.
