先日主人の要望でまたtom yum kungスープを作りました。

そこで、作ってたときに、缶詰めのstraw mushroomを開けましたら・・・

あれっ？？？？？？



色がなんか変だわ。。。ちょっと薄い・・・

と思ったら・・・

いや〜、形も違う・・・丸いstraw mushroomじゃなくて・・・
入ってるのは細長いエノキなんじゃないの？？？？！！！

目をかいてラベルをもう一度確認してら、確かにstraw mushroomと表示されてる。
でも、中身が・・・

エノキでした。

こんなミスも十分ありえるんだね。初めて体験したことだけど、結構受けちゃって一人で笑っちゃった。（＾＾；；

Came home to Vancouver for a close friend's wedding. I was looking forward to help out and share the joy of preparations but I fell sick the 2nd day I arrived.

I feel so bad not being able to help. But the best thing I could do is to not give the bride and groom my bad cold.

What bad timing! One more day before the big day...I'd better recover soon.

Last year I spent my birthday driving a big U-Haul truck moving furnitures into our apartment.

This year I spent my birthday...

waiting for Comcast,
doing laundry,
going to the post office,
grocery shopping,
cooking,
cutting my husband's hair,
and cutting my own finger (I got distracted talking while cutting hubby's hair)...

It was another peaceful and ordinary day. Another great birthday!

Hubby bought me some flowers when he came back from the library after midnight last night.




And I also got a lot of very sweet and heart warming birthday wishes, presents from my friends and family. Thank you so very much!

My husband forwarded me this article.

It's in Japanese but in general it says based on a recent survey conducted through cell phones. The Z generation (age 15-22) in Japan voted on occupations they want to take part in. The scary result shows male/female club companions as high as the 9th place out of the 30 choice provided!

I don't want to say much about my complicated feelings about this low moral among the younger generations but this probably is not their fault. Who actually made them think it's perfectly acceptable to sell their body and laughters for money?

We all know the answer.

去年パリに行った後、ゆっくりと写真集を作り始めました。

本当はもっと早くできたのに・・・お金かかるからずっと注文するのを延期し続いたんだ。

で、どんな写真集というのは、いつも写真をアップしているKodakgalleryで自分で編集できる写真集です。写真を撮るのが好きなので、撮った写真はあまりにも多すぎて蔵入りにしてしまうのがほとんどで、まともにアルバムにするのは初めてです。

「新婚旅行」ということで（新婚でも無いのにね・・・）、思い切って本にすることに！

注文して1週間ぐらいかな、我が家の初写真集が無事に届きました！

旅の思い出なので、風景や食べたものの写真が多いです。（＾＾；；

中のデザインは一応自分で選んでアレンジすることができます。Ｃａｐｔｉｏｎも自分で調整する（勿論）。









全部自分で撮った写真なので、見ていると本当に嬉しいよね。
大満足です！
来年も1冊作ろうかな。。。
